70 Boss 429 Suspension detailing.
I am adding some pictures of some suspension restoration I finished.

I will add some more Pictures later of the rest of the cars suspension parts I am restoring.

These are some Arms I am working on.  The pair that are almost finished have what I am assuming, is a date code of L5 on the nose. I have not seen this before. I have seen a B stamped or a G and an A.  Sometimes I have not found any. I am sure Ford used a number of suppliers and each had their own method.  Almost every Upper Arm I have seen have a A stamped on the left side.   This upper Arm is for a 66 427 Fairlane out of good old Texas.

These are a comparison of three Arms at different stages of restoration.

Here are some more pics of the suspension for the 66 Fairlane.  I did find the pink and yellow on the arms and the white stripe on the drag link. I found no paint markings anywhere on the tie rods, so I will leave this up to the customer.  Idler arm has green stripe. I have not got it back yet from new bushings being pressed in.

These are a few more parts I have finished for the 70 Boss 429.  I'll let the customer put back the paint daubs and markings.  I Zinc Phosphate and tumble all the parts including cast iron parts.
