In 1990 I had heard about a yellow 69 Boss 302 in a wrecking yard in Montana.  I called the owners every year for 15 years until I was finally able to buy it in 2005.  I started the restoration in the fall of 2007 and finished it this fall, 2008.   I was able to track down a 69 dated correct motor and trans for the car.  I spent about 2 years collecting parts before starting on the car.  The car was hit and had some pretty good surface rust and a few bad spots.   I am currently restoring a 69 GT 350.  I am then starting on the next project, a 1968 California Special R code car, one of three built.  Pictures below!
