The underside of this Shelby was sprayed in a batch mix and it was a gray silver color with a lot of metallic in it. I matched the color before I stripped the bottom side and did the repairs. A lot of nice runs etc with the GA over spray. I shot the Gulf Stream Aqua in the inside and trunk and bottom in single stage. I would normally spray this at the same time I paint the car, but I am using base clear on the outside and it just does not look right trying to get the right over spray effect with base and then clear it.
I am attaching a picture I have of the car before I stripped it. You can see the way they blacked out the fire wall and the drips in the black paint.
